Ed Dunkelblau

Ed Dunkelblau is the director of the Institute for Emotionally Intelligent Learning and an internationally known speaker and consultant on the topics of social-emotional and character development, safe schools programming, and humor in education. He was the lead consultant to the Kansas Board of Education in developing the United States’s first social-emotional and character learning standards, and he is one of the select cadre of speakers working with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Yellow Ribbon reintegration program for returning service members. Dunkelblau's work has been featured in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and more, and he has received numerous awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award for Applied Humor by AATH.
